Behavior Support

Assessing each person’s needs and training the staff around them, so positive behavior is supported in everyday life. Serving families across New Jersey.

What Behavior Support Looks Like

Behavior support focuses on understanding the reasons behind actions and building strategies that lead to meaningful, lasting change. It is one of the services NJ DDD funds through an individualized budget: see what DDD actually pays for, or read behavior support under a NJ DDD plan.

Plans written — and followed — by Board Certified Behavior Analysts

Every Ameriwell support plan is written by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Our BCBAs and behavior specialists stay with the plan after it is written — monitoring how it works in practice, checking in with the people around the person, and adjusting it as needs change.

Working With Families and Support Coordinators

We partner with families, caregivers, and support networks to share insights and align behavior support strategies across environments.
