Caregivers. The $150 is for people who join our team and stay. If you know a family who needs support we would still very much like to hear from you — that just is not what this particular reward covers.
Anyone you think would be good at this — friends, former colleagues, neighbours, people from your community. If they have the right temperament, we would like to meet them.
Yes. If you know someone who would do this work well, the relationship does not matter to us.
No limit. Refer as many people as you know who would be a good fit.
Because the thing that matters most in this work is people staying. The wait simply means the referral has turned into a real, settled placement — which is what makes a difference to the person being supported.
No. Families, support coordinators and friends of the agency are all welcome to refer someone.
