Finding the right support can feel like a lot, especially when you’re already carrying so much. Below are the five ways Ameriwell supports individuals and families across New Jersey. Read what fits, skip what doesn’t, and reach out when you’re ready.
Real-life skills and confidence, built out in the world with someone right there beside your loved one.
Steady, hands-on care right where your loved one is most comfortable, on your family’s schedule.
Patient help for the hard moments. We look at what behavior is really saying, then build a calmer plan.
Become your loved one’s paid caregiver — up to $30/hour through NJ DDD, with training, paperwork, and backup all handled.
Focused, compassionate therapy that builds real skills for communication, connection, and everyday life.
Tell us about your loved one and we’ll point you to the right support.
When support is built around the person, everyday life starts to feel more possible, for your loved one and for your whole family.
You know your loved one better than anyone. We partner closely with parents, caregivers, and support coordinators, so you stay informed, included, and never alone in it.
Tell us about the person you care for and what you’re hoping to find. We’ll listen and help you understand your options, with no pressure.

Steady, familiar help with daily routines and skills, right where your loved one lives and feels most comfortable.

We help individuals take part in everyday life outside the home, building confidence through real-world experiences across New Jersey.

A few things families ask us early on.
We offer five core services across New Jersey: community-based support, home-based support, behavior support, family-based support, and therapy services. Each one can stand on its own or work together, and we’re happy to walk you through which might be the right starting point for your family.
Most of our services are provided through New Jersey’s Division of Developmental Disabilities, and we’re fully DDD-approved and licensed. If you’re not sure where you stand with DDD, that’s one of the first things we’ll help you sort out. Our NJ DDD services guide is a good place to get your bearings, and a quick call can answer the rest.
You don’t have to decide on your own. When you reach out, we start with a conversation about the person’s needs, your home, and your goals. From there we’ll recommend a service, or a combination, that actually fits. Many families use more than one type of support at once.
Our typical response time is within 24 hours, and when you call, someone who understands your situation answers, not a phone tree. We know reaching out is a big step, and we try to make the next one feel easy to take.
Yes. Care that stays the same while a person grows isn’t really care. We check in regularly and adjust the plan as needs shift, so the support you have today can grow right along with your family.
We support individuals and families across New Jersey. Our team is based in Lakewood, in Ocean County, and works with people throughout the state, wherever the right support is needed.
Most of our services are delivered through New Jersey’s Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), including the Supports Program and the Community Care Program. If you’re not sure which program fits, our NJ DDD services guide explains the options, and we can help you sort it out.
Whether you’re looking for support for a loved one or just starting to explore your options, reach out today. We’ll take the time to listen and help you move forward with clarity and care.
